About the Gather Box Video Service

The Gather Box Video service is a simple, stress-free way to preserve your precious video tape memories. We accept a wide range of tape formats, VHS, VHS-C, miniDV, and 8mm, and convert them to high-quality digital files, all from our store in Levin, New Zealand.

Once digitised, your footage is saved to a USB drive that you keep. No more worrying about tapes degrading, getting mouldy, or becoming unplayable as older technology disappears. Your memories are preserved in a format you can watch, share, and back up for generations to come.

The service is handled entirely in-house by our team at Photo and Framed, so there's no sending your irreplaceable tapes overseas. You drop them off, we do the work, and you pick them up ready to enjoy.
